Hello Hello Hello,
Today is I make a move to bring two of my favorite past times together for the first time. Computers and Astronomy.
I recently purchased a Meade 8" LX200 GPS sscope from Ebay for a great price. This is my first computerized scope so I'm hoping my enjoyment will come to a new level.
I have always had a scope of one sort or another. Getting a new one every few years, but never taking that leap to a computerized mount or anything above a 6 inch. This limited my enjoyment as I could never find what I was looking for quickly. It's kinda like my typing, hunt and peck..LOL And if I had someone with me they quickly got bored along with me.
So watch along as I learn to use this new scope along with the Dork Dog.
